‘Reza’ to screen in Iran cinemas soon

‘Reza’, a romantic film, is slated to premiere at Iranian cinemas soon.

Alireza Motamedi’s 94-minute feature film has been announced to screen at the ‘Art and Experience’ cinemas starting from March 11, 2019. The film will be on silver screen during the upcoming Persian New Year too.

The film, that is the director’s debut feature, narrates the story of a man in love who needs to deal with the separation from his beloved wife.

The main character of the film Reza must delve into all aspects of his personality to find out why his better half and the woman he loves cannot tolerate living with him and divorces him.

Sahar Dolatshahi, Setareh Pesyani, Reza Davoudnejad, Afsar Asadi, Solmaz Ghani and the director himself are among the cast members of the flick.

The film debuted at the 36th Fajr International Film Festival and was well-received by the film critics.

‘Reza’ has so far attended a number of international film events and gained awards too. Its presence at the 33rd Belfort Entrevues International Film Festival in France for example, won it 15,000 Euro Cine+Distribution Support Award.
